No Seating Chart account is planned to be required to create classrooms, add classes and students, arrange seating, or use the core app.
What that means
You should not need to create another username or password simply to make a seating chart useful.
The app is purchased through the App Store, but an Apple Account used for App Store purchases and device services is separate from a Seating Chart account.
Services outside the core app
Support, a future teacher community, or other optional services outside the core app may use separate contact or account systems. They do not change the planned account-free design of the core Seating Chart app.
School-managed iPads
A school may manage installation, backups, sharing, and security through its own Apple and device-management systems. Seating Chart does not replace those school policies.
